In 2015 a devastating earthquake struck the heart of Nepal killing over 8,000 people and injuring over 21,000 more. Humanitarian organizations and individuals from around the world spent the next several years helping the people of Nepal rebuild, including a group of American business leaders. It was on one of those trips in 2016 that the need for technical career opportunities in Nepal was joined with the high demand for QA services in US software companies to form the precursor to GlobalDevs.
